| We recently relocated to the country outside of Magnolia, Texas, (from San Antonio, Texas) and we have been raising Cotons since 1998. Previous to that time, we raised Bichons from 1981-95. While living in San Antonio, the breeder was a trainer at Rob Cary Pet Resort, teaching puppy and basic obedience classes. 
The breeder belongs to the American Coton Club, the USACTC, is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, a member of the Delta Society for Pet Therapy, and is certified in Pet First Aid by the American Red Cross. We hold the philosophy of minimal vaccinations and natural rearing for the best health for our dogs. Recent research has shown that over-vaccination is causing health problems for our domestic pets and the AAHA has come out with a reduced vaccination schedule in February 2006. Natural rearing uses raw foods for our pets. If we are encouraged to "eat healthy" by using fresh foods, don't our pets deserve the same? Processed foods, full of chemicals, is not a healthy diet for humans or pets.
